Well I have sent out the Christmas cards and I am sure that you were all grateful for the lack of Christmas Letter! 2008 has been a great year although we did NOT vote for the democrat taking office we are still looking forward to a great 2009 (even though a community organizer is going to be the next president of the US.)
We decided not to move to Canada because our new President is a socialist and by the end of the 4 years our medical options will be as bad as they are in Canada...enough of the diatribe!
So the biggest news of the year is that Austin is on his mission serving in Ventura California! He entered the MTC on Oct 29th and although everyone around him were weeping he was excited to be there and his enthusiasm has not wained since arriving in the feild- we await every Monday for his email (that we are one of the list of people that are on the email list:) His missionary website is here on the blog.
Whitney is the typical 15 year old. She is busy with cheerleading and in the spring she took State for level 7 all- around. The most amazing thing is that she took 1st place all around at every meet for the season. It was very exciting. She turns 16 in February and is very excited to have her learners permit...her dad is much braver than her mom when it comes to driving with her...I won't he will.
Slade is busy with sports- he loved playing football again although the Team Mom did catch him saying "I hate this team I am going back in the draft for next year." At this juncture she asked hm if he remembered that his dad was the head coach...I told him I was going to tell that story when he is inducted into the NFL hall of fame.
Claire is our angel girl- she gave up on gymnastics...she hated it. She is taking dance and she was a cheerleader for her brothers football team. She is the sweetest child and her baby brother loves her very much!
Speaking of Demon Deacon- he is 2 and he is still rockin our world...literally! He keeps us hoppin and we adore him. Although I am anticipating that he will ned to learn to be a wide reciever since he is only in the 25 percentile.
Greg has been traveling a lot this year with his promotion- the good thing is that he took me on a couple of trips...including to Maui when we flew over to see the pro-bowl on our way back to Ohio.
I am still a DM for Kindercare and I am loving every minute of it! I love the difference that I make everyday and I work with amazing people and a terrific boss! And even better I am not traveling at all! I love it!
Hope that you have had a happy and healthy year-
And to our republican friends...hang tough!

For spring break we were lucky enough to have my sister come and visit us with her family. We did fun things around the cinci area. One was the Creation Museum...even Whitney Lu gave it 2 thumbs up!
On one of the most beautiful and rare days this spring we got to go to the day before opening day for the Red's. It was a beautiful day that we all got to enjoy including Deacon who got to enjoy his first MLB hotdog. It was a good family day!
